Leigh returns to Rogue Machine after her highly acclaimed design for American Dead. Leigh Allen (Lighting Designer) is a recent recipient of the Career Achievement Award from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. Stephen Gifford (Set Designer) has recently designed Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune (International City Theatre), Assassins, and The Sweetest Swing in Baseball (West Coast Ensemble) Hollywood Christmas Show and 1776 (Actor’s Co-op) Welcome to the Moon, The Six that Fell, and The Man of Infinite Sadness (Rooftop Theatre) and Lady (The Road Theatre). This presentation of RAZORBACK takes place in their newly remodeled intimate home at Theatre Theater. For the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Elina has directed the LA Premiere and multi-award winning Speed the Plow by David Mamet, Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, the nine month run of Clifford Odets’ Awake and Sing!, and currently Proof by David Auburn. An award-winning director, producer and casting director, Elina’s Los Angeles directing credits include the highly acclaimed Vincent in Brixton by Nicholas Wright (Pasadena Playhouse), Pacific Resident Theatre’s Rocket to the Moon by Clifford Odets (LADCC Nominee for direction 2004), Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams (which garnered multiple awards including the top LADCC Awards for performance, direction and production 2003), and Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance.

As an actor, John has recently appeared onstage at the Odyssey Theatre in The Chicago Conspiracy Trial (LA Weekly Award Nominee) and A Small Tragedy. John wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed play Lost and Found which had its world premiere in 2006 and was directed by John Perrin Flynn. John Pollono (Playwright) is a young Los Angeles playwright whose works have been produced at the Ivy Substation, The Lounge Theatre, Actor’s Circle Theatre, and Theatre Unlimited. Elina deSantos directs this World Premiere production for Rogue Machine. The plot twists and turns like a snake moving towards a hypnotized rat in John Pollono’s dark comedy about fathers and sins.
